Fixed Curing Chamber with Refrigeration

In the production of plastic composite films, some specialized materials or functional composite films require a specialized process of "refrigeration followed by curing" due to raw material characteristics, bonding mechanisms, or final performance requirements. Xiamen Kechuang has developed a Fixed Curing Chamber with Refrigeration to meet these customer needs. This process stabilizes the film material and controls the initial reaction rate through a pre-refrigeration step, followed by a curing step to promote deep curing of the adhesive, ultimately ensuring the composite film's peel strength, flatness, and weather resistance.

The chamber's insulation, made of 50mm rock wool and color-coated steel sandwich panels, reduces heat exchange with the outside environment during heating and cooling, improving energy efficiency. Unlike the traditional "separate refrigeration unit + separate curing chamber" setup, the Fixed Curing Chamber with Refrigeration is equipped with a refrigerator, combining the refrigeration and curing functions of the plastic composite film. Its "single-chamber, dual-mode" design and intelligent temperature control system enable a continuous "refrigeration-curing" process within the same chamber, eliminating the need for material transfer and preventing external interference while ensuring precise control of process parameters.

Let's explore the features of the Fixed Curing Chamber with Refrigeration!
1. Precisely adjust the refrigeration temperature (accuracy ±2°C) and time based on the film material and adhesive type. After refrigeration, the system automatically switches to curing parameters without removing the film roll, allowing for flexible settings of temperature (adjustable from 10-80°C) and time based on curing requirements. For example, for step-curing of high-barrier film, curing at 60°C for 36 hours can be set to ensure deep curing of the adhesive.
2. In the traditional separate operation model, film rolls that have completed refrigeration must be transported to the curing room manually or by automated guided vehicle (AGV). This transport process presents three major risks: First, the significant difference between the ambient room temperature (e.g., above 30°C in summer) and the refrigeration temperature can easily cause condensation on the film roll surface, leading to delamination during subsequent curing. Second, the film roll is susceptible to collision and compression during transport, resulting in deformation or scratches. Third, the time required for transport (typically 0.5-1 hour) can cause the initial adhesive reaction to progress uncontrollably, affecting the curing effect. The Fixed Curing Chamber with Refrigeration's "single-chamber processing" mode completely resolves these issues: once the film roll is placed in the chamber, the system automatically switches from refrigeration to curing. The entire process remains in a sealed, clean environment, eliminating condensation and collision risks, significantly improving film roll quality and stability.
